Fig Agency requested an office environment that was homelike and inviting. They hoped that their clients would feel put at ease, and inspired while in their spaces - like being at a brilliant friend’s house for an afternoon cocktail, or a late morning cup of coffee. Drawing on our collective 50+ years in Performance and Hospitality lighting design, we used light to enliven spaces where ideas were generated and discussed, and to create an enveloping warmth in secondary spaces where ideas could percolate.

For the Primary work areas, Fig Agency requested a calm atmosphere that was not too brightly lit, and we provided. Using a combination of indirect lighting across the ceiling and wall plans, and some linear downlight illumination for desk surfaces, we created an environment in the open office spaces that reduced glare, created comfort for employees.
